The Jewels Model Preparatory School in Upper Allen Town, Orugu, Freetown is situated on the east side of the capital.

 This Christian school was founded in 2006 by the current proprietor, Mrs. Georgiana Kargbo. Georgiana is one of Watford Community Church’s mission partners who as a church we seek to strengthen links with and provide support for her ministry with her church and the school.

The Headmistress, Mrs Anita Kamara manages seven teachers and the 117 children that currently attend the school. The school is made up of six classes ranging from nursery, age 3 to 10 year olds. The schools motto is ‘steadfastness’.

The teachers have been receiving teacher training over the last year and the school is soon to be recognised officially by the government of the Sierra Leone.
